IMAGINE ME-- O.S

Imagine me a greater being. Not a christ-like image, a symbolic figure splattered in your thoughts. Pulling you towards adventure showing you my own art-like picture, hanging up for the world to see. Imagine me, tied down or living free a creative employee of successful worldwide refugees. Saving lives of the innocent dreaming infinitely ,articulately -- respectfully. The shit you want to say as a kid but god forbid you speak out-- you'll get whipped. Whipped like slaves of our words, trapped in. The consequences of playing to win , run before they switch up the stories, horrors turning into non-fiction glories, but its real. Imagine me breaking free from stereotypes, its a horrible site. Looking back, people changed history for life, yet we settle for what isnt right,. Dr.King, Rosa Parks and Nelson Mandela-- A better bedtime story than Cinderella. They sacrificed more than shoes, gave up everything and still didnt lose. It's a lost cause-- we are lost, killing our own brothers. Behold a modern day dangerous world , just look at your hands-- its history untold. As African- Americans we need a tight hold on our possessions , take whats rightfully yours with aggression. Imagine me changing the lives of the younger , giving opinions to the youngsters a brighter future amongst us. The ones starving of hunger, now feasting. Successful black people increasing. Imagine me and see change. -Omorefe Slayton
